Israel Deluxe tour for 9 days Itinerary
This is an intensive 9 day tour in Israel. There are 7 full touring days, including transfers from the airport. The package includes hotels for the night you arrive and the night before you leave. If you would like to add or subtract days to the tour let us know and we will make it happen. This tour can start on any day of the week, but the order of the tour may change.
Day 1: Arrival at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. A driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 2: Caesarea. 07:15 you will be collected from your hotel. Start in Caesarea touring the Roman city to see the theater and the hippodrome. Continue on to the remains of a Roman temple. Stop in Haifa to see the Baha’I gardens and shrine. Stop at Rosh Hanikra and ride a cable car down to the grottos. The last stop of the day is to Acre to tour the Crusader City and the Turkish prison. Back to the hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 3: Nazareth and Sea of Galilee. 07:15 Pick up from your hotel. Start out the day driving with a view of Megiddo. We will stop at the Mount of Precipitation. When arriving in Nazareth tour the Church of Annunciation, and next to it the Church of St. Joseph. Leaving Nazareth drive to the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum at the bottom of Mount Beatitude. Tour the home of Peter and the Benedictine Church. Drive along the Sea of Galilee, and pass Tiberias, at Yardenit you may be baptized in the Jordan River. Returning pass Mount Tabor that was the site of the Transfiguration. Overnight Tel Aviv.
Day 4: Safed, Tiberias, Mt. Meron. 07:15 a driver will be waiting for you. Drive to Tiberias and tour the graves of 2 prominent sages. Visit the grave of Rabbi Baal Hanes who was a student of the great Rabbi Akiva, whose grave is close by. There are separate areas for men and women, and there are also separate study areas for the different sects. There is a mini market that sells all forms of religious articles, and artifacts. Continue on to the tomb of Rabbi Mosh E Maimon, the rambam. In Safed tour the old city, and stop at the synagogue of the Ari Hakadosh, there is also a visitors’ center and an artist gallery. Arrive at Mount Meron to arrive at the site of the grave of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. This is a place of an annual pilgrimage. Overnight Tel Aviv.
Day 5: Bethlehem and Jericho. 07:15 Pick up from your hotel. Drive towards the Dead Sea and pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Stop at the Sea Level marker before continuing to Jericho. Mt. Temptation is located above Jericho, and we will stop there for a bit. Tour some of the excavations in Jericho. Travel back past Jerusalem to continue on to tour Bethlehem and the Church of Nativity, and the Church of St. Catherine. When leaving Bethlehem pass the Milk Grotto and Shepherd’s Fields. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 6: Masada and Dead Sea. 07:15 is the pickup time. Drive towards the Dead Sea, you can see Jericho in the distance. Arrive at Masada and take the cable car to the top. Tour the palaces, the bath house, a synagogue, Roman barracks, and more. On our way to the Dead Sea, ass Ein Gedi, and the caves at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Enjoy a swim in the Dead Sea, the saltiest body of water on Earth. Even if you can’t swim you can float. Back to hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 7: Tel Aviv. Pick up from 08:00-08:30. Wait for your driver, he will be there to pick you up. Tour the Diaspora Museum. This is a museum that shows culture and history of the Jewish people. Drive the main streets of the city, including the entertainment section and the business center. Stop at the place where the assassination of Yitzchak Rabin took place. We will continue on to tour Old Jaffa. Tour the ancient ruins, and walk in the artists’ quarter. Walk around in Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Visit Nahalat Binyamin to see the artifacts, handmade jewelry, and the musicians. Stop at Sheinkin, a street with a youthful atmosphere, unique shops, and cafes. Back to hotel in Tel Aviv.
Day 8: Jerusalem: Pick up at 07:15 from your hotel. Drive to Jerusalem and start with a view of the Old City. Continuing the drive you will be able to see the Gardern of Gethsemane , the Mount of Olives, and the Church of all Nations. Entering the Old City through the Lions’ Gate, we will pass the Armenian Quarter to the Byzantine Cardo. Continue walking through to the Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Stations of the Cross, finally arriving at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Take a short walk through the market of the Old City, and then we will go to tour the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Back to your hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.
Day 9: Transfer to Ben Gurion airport.

What you need to know:
- There is a dress code for holy places. Shoulders and knees must be covered.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
