Tour Jordan in 8 days Itinerary
Amman, the capital of Jordan. It has been destroyed by many earthquakes and natural disasters. It remained a small village until 1878. Ottoman records show that in 1906, 5000 Cirassians were living there, and almost no one spoke Arabic. When they built the railway linking Amman to Damascus, the city flourished. today it is the most populated city in Jordan with an estimated 4 million.
The tour will take you to the Roman theater that can hold 6000 people. It is still being used today for cultural events and sports events.
There are many museums to see including an art gallery, and the Citadel which is home to the Temple of Hercules.
The lowest point on Earth which is the Dead Sea. Enjoy floating in its buoyant waters.
Pella is the site of ancient ruins in the North of Jordan. The archaeologists are still excavating today.
At Umm Qays you can see the Northern Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee.
Jerash with its fertile lands allow the growing of a variety of crops. It is also the site of the ruins of the Greco- Roman city of Gerasa.
Ajloun is a hilly town in Northern Jordan. It is famous for its amazing ruins. On the site of an old monastery you can find the Ajloun Castle. The castle used to control traffic from the road connecting Damascus and Egypt.
Mabada is located in central Jordan. It is well known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics.
Petra is an amazing site to see, as you walk through the pathway that takes you to this wonderful place called the siq, be amazed at your first look at the Treasury. Petra was inhabited by the Nabateans, that used to control the water supply, which is what started the city.
Wadi Rum home to the Bedouin way of life, experience the feeling of living in the desert.

Minimum 2 people
1st day: Arrival to Arava border of Eilat
Meeting and assistance by a member of our staff at the Arava border. You will be transported to a hotel in Amman. Overnight at the hotel.
2nd day: Amman / Desert Castles / Amman
Breakfast. Morning departure to the eastern desert to visit the Omayyad castles of Azraq, Amra and Kharranah. Return to Amman. Free afternoon at leisure to discover the downtown area of Amman on foot. Overnight at the hotel.
3rd day: Amman City Tour / Dead Sea / Amman
Breakfast. Morning tour of Amman, visiting the Roman Theatre, the Citadel, the archaeological and Folklore museums and the modern parts of Amman. In the afternoon, we depart to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of earth for a swim in its warm, salty waters at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel. Return to hotel in Amman for overnight.
4th day: Amman / Jerash / Ajlun / Amman
Breakfast. Morning departure to visit Jerash, one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world with its theatres, temples, churches and colonnaded streets. Proceed towards Ajlun to tour the 12th century Saracen Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. Return to hotel in Amman for overnight.
5th day: Amman / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Kerak / Petra
Breakfast. Drive southwards along the Kings’ Way to Petra, visiting Madaba's St. George's church, which contains the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land and Mt. Nebo with its endearing monastery overlooking the Dead Sea. Drive through the magnificent scenery of Wadi Mujib to Kerak to visit the Crusader Castle. Continue south to Petra. Overnight at hotel.
6th day: Petra
Breakfast. The tour of Petra starts on horseback and gradually unfolds the mysteries of the Rose Red City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. Return to hotel for overnight.
7th day: Petra / Wadi Rum / Amman
Breakfast. Visit the Wadi Rum Desert in a 4x4 vehicle for three hours and explore its moon-like landscape. This is where the film “Lawrence of Arabia” was shot. If time permits, you can take al short visit to Aqaba on the Red Sea to do some snorkeling and enjoy the sea. Return to Amman. Overnight in Amman. (an extension in Aqaba can be arranged for a supplement, please contact us for details).
Breakfast. Transfer to the Arava border, and assistance with departure formalities
8th day: Departure

What you need to know :
- Have a valid passport and landing card.
- We require nationality, passport number, date of issue, expiry date and birth date for your reservation.
- Voucher and visa/tax/tip money- in cash only (payable in U.S. dollars, Euro, Pound Sterling or Israeli Shekel).
- Very warm clothing in winter, cool comfortable clothing and head covering in summer.
